Receiving A Diagnosis Jessica's Analogy

Updated: Apr 4, 2022

As we have continued to grow beyond our expectations with welcoming from so very many. We have had the pleasure of meeting and discussing not only our workbook but what it is like as a parent to receive a diagnosis.

Jessica always explains what receiving a diagnosis is like the same way every time. Her analogy just kind of seems to allow it to click inside others of how overwhelming it can truly become.

"It is like Web MD, you go onto the site put in a couple of symptoms and you get so many hits. It is like that, you get a diagnosis, all the information thrown at you and your supposed to figured it all out." - Jessica

It becomes overwhelming, scary, causes anger, depression, anxiety and spirals into what can hardly be understood if at all. It is hard.

There are so very many resources and information sites, some good, some outdated, and some helpful. Going at it alone is the hardest.

Our workbook helps you organize it all in a simplistic way that gives enough information without being overwhelmed by it.
